    I am on my second read-through, having been privileged to see much of my friend Susan's (Susan Ariel Rainbow Kennedy) new book during the manuscript phase. This time, though, I am reading it for me, McNair the writer. So, I am taking my time and making more than a few marginal notes, doodles, and highlighting. (In a SARK book, highlighting is almost redundant...but I do it anyway.)

While you're in the book shop, grab a well-worn, used copy with great notes doodled in the margins, of Walking on Water by Madeliene L'Engle (A Wrinkle in Time.)  This is the other great and inspiring book for writers and all other active creators. This one of my ten favorite books of all time.  I have read "WOW", word-for-word,  five times. I will read it again.
